Hazard

The product presents a high risk of electric shock as the terminal block is too close to the metal part of the luminaire. If a wire becomes loose and touches the metal part, the luminaire may become live, presenting a risk of electric shock to the user. Improvements are also required to product labelling and marketing. The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Remedy

The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed.
