Hazard

The product presents a serious risk of fire because the plug does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363 and cannot make a secure connection to the socket. Over time, this could lead to the plug overheating and igniting, causing a fire. The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets etc (Safety) Regulations 1994.

Remedy

The import has been rejected at the border. The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (Amazon). We recommend that you stop using this product immediately and contact the seller for redress.
