Hazard

The product presents a serious risk of drowning because it has the design and appearance of a toy which is not permitted under EN 13138-3, as it increases the likelihood of incorrect usage. Incorrect usage could lead to the child drowning. Additionally, swim seats should be manufactured in bright colours that contrast with the water surface to ensure visibility. This product does not provide sufficient contrast to the water surface to make it readily visible at all times. The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.

Remedy

The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed. The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (Amazon).
