The product poses a health risk because it fails to detect gas at a concentration of 300 ppm, in a time of less than 3 minutes and so does not allow the user and others nearby to take the necessary measures to avoid the risk of intoxication by carbon monoxide.The product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 50291.
