Hazard

The product presents a serious chemical risk as it contains cadmium at a concentration of 45200mg/kg, in excess of the permissible maximum. Cadmium is harmful to human health as it accumulates in the body, can damage organs and may cause cancer. The product does not meet the requirements of the REACH Enforcement Regulations 2008.

Remedy

The product has been destroyed at the border.
