The product poses a chemical risk because it contains 20.3% by weight of bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and 10.2% by weight of di-“isononyl” phthalate (DINP). According to the Chemical Restrictions Directive 76/769/EEC, certain phthalates in childcare articles are prohibited.

Product description

Child’s bib with a pocket, printed with a picture of dogs and flowers. The bib is packed in a transparent plastic bag closed with coloured card. A coloured card is stapled to the bib with the inscription: “Libra Soft pelican bib. Strong practical - large packet catches crumbs and spills - only wipe it."
