Hazard

The product presents a serious risk of suffocation due to the possibility of the user becoming trapped between the rail bumper and the cot side or between the bumper and the cot mattress. If a child under 3 is placed on the cot in between the bumpers and then moves, their face may become pressed between the inflatable part of the product and the mattress or cot side and/or mattress, causing them to suffocate. Additionally, the presence of the attachment straps presents a potential strangulation hazard. The product is stated as being intended for toddlers, but the marketing materials show the product being used by a very young baby. The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.

Remedy

The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed. The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (Amazon).
