Hazard

The product presents a serious risk of suffocation. If a child who cannot hold their head up is placed in the baby carrier, their head may drop forward while they face outward, which can close off the child’s airway, or they may lie with their mouth and nose pressed against the caregiver’s clothing which can block airflow. The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.

Remedy

The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed.
