Hazard

The product presents a high risk of drowning as it does not meet the colour requirements of BS 13138-3. The predominant colour of the product is light blue, which means it would be difficult to see the child if they were underwater. Additionally, the product has the design and appearance of an aquatic toy which is not permitted as it increases the likelihood of the product being used incorrectly. The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations (2005).

Remedy

The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (TikTok). TikTok have contacted consumers who have purchased the product to warn them of the risks. We recommend owners stop using this product immediately. Contact the distributor you purchased from to request redress.
